Dinosaurs Unearthed: Explore Prehistoric Queensland (QM) uncovers 250 million years of life in ancient Queensland. This redeveloped permanent gallery, that opened June 2023, celebrates Qld dinosaurs, giant marine reptiles, and supersized megafauna.

Minerals: Inspirational Treasures from the Earth (QM) is a permanent gallery which showcases more than 230 rare minerals and gems from around Australia and the world.

Whale skeleton: 15-metre adult humpback whale skeleton display (QM). The presentation and articulation of this skeleton was designed, costed, and engineer-assessed ready for display, however the project is indefinitely paused.
