-Alison is an award-winning, production designer working across the spectrum of the arts. After graduating from QUT studying Drama, majoring in Design, she has been designing sets, props and costumes for more than twenty years for every type of live performance art, including theatre, dance, ballet, circus and musicals.
-Alison has designed site-specific works in the form of exhibitions, installations, festivals and parades. She has been Exhibition Design Manager at Museum of Brisbane from 2013-May 2017.
-Alison has also worked as a Production and Costume Designer on Film, and spent time in many film and television art departments as an art director, set dresser and maker of models, puppets and props.
-Alison has been a resident-artist in schools, a formal mentor to emerging designers, and has taught production design/construction for live performance at The Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne University; Qld University of Technology, and GoTAFE Regional Victoria.
